IN MEMORY OF...

Our Founder

In Memory of Lora Lee Jones

Lora Lee Jones is the founder of Marshall County Home Health in Oklahoma. She ran Marshall County Home Health until she attempted to retire in 2002, however her passion for home care would bring her back to work in 2007 when she joined the staff of her daughters home health company in Whitesboro TX as an office manager, a position she held until she passed away in the summer of 2012.

 Lora Lee was the adoring mother to our Owners and Administrators, Kim Massingill and Amy Goedecke, and beloved sister to Margaret Goff (Director of A.L.L. Care). She loved her family deeply, her grandchildren were her greatest joy, and they all miss her dearly.

Lora Lee was a wonderful wife, proud mother, amazing sister, caring aunt, boastful grandmother, and trusted friend. It is the values and compassion that guided Lora Lee to a career in nursing and home care that have set us on our path and have remained a part of our company through the legacy she left behind in her daughters care.

Every day Lora Lee started with this prayer, it is how she lived her life. We would like to share it with you and challenge you to do the same:

O’ God, for another day,
For another morning,
For another hour,
For another minute,
For another chance to live and serve Thee,
I am truly grateful.
Do Thou this day free me:
From fear of the future;
From anxiety of the morrow;
From bitterness toward anyone;
From cowardice in the face of danger;
From laziness in the face of work;
From failure before opportunity;
From Weakness when Thy power is at hand.
But fill me with:
Love that knows no barrier;
Courage that cannot be shaken;
Faith strong enough for the darkness;
Strength sufficient for my tasks;
Loyalty to Thy kingdom’s goal;
Wisdom to meet life’s complexities
Power to lift men unto Thee.
Be Thee with me for another day
And use me as Thou wilt;
In Christ’s Name, I pray.
Amen.
